PLOT COME ONE, COME ALL In a fictional country named Micarea, its lands are divided into 14 regions where each region has it’s own distinct views, and lifestyle within it’s people. Although, right in the center of the country lies the great Capital City where people of all regions gather and diversity is encouraged. Not only is the capital popular for its unity, its also popular due to its very own Yugen Academy.
This academy is where many students aspire to attend. It is a prestigious school dedicated in teaching students how to live in life, for what they specialize in, but it also helps those students who come from a specific region that wants to pursue a different region’s job. For example, if you are a native of the Hyacinth region and you want to become a detective, you’d have to either go to that region to study, or go to Yugen Academy. Most students choose to go to the academy because of the diversity, and the fact that there is less discrimination.
The academy offers schooling for high schoolers and college students. It’s a great place to study and frequently offers scholarships to those people that need them. Since it’s in the capital, there are dorms for those that don’t already live in the capital city. Dorms are separated by gender (that the student identifies as), and they also house two people in one room.
Most students have their future job in mind when they go to the school, but for those that don’t know what they want to do, or switch frequently, are able to go from one specialization, to another. With this in mind, students flock to the academy. What will you do? |

LORE LIFE GOES ON The king and the queen, were two influential figures in the country. But now, they are dead. Nobody knows who did it, but everyone has their ideas. A main concern on everyone’s mind is that they need a new king. Looking to the two sons of the king and queen, the nobles that ruled over each region came together and voted. One son, Arthur, a cruel, heartless man was loved by seven of the regions. The other son, Lorance, a sweet man with a kind heart, was loved by six of the regions. The only one to not decide on a potential king was the Columbine Region. They didn’t know who to choose. If they chose the first son, then the cruel one would become the king. If they chose the second son, then there would be a stalemate. However, the obvious didn’t matter to them, and reality doesn’t always end up the way we want it.
Arthur became king in the end.
Surprisingly his rule had been running quite smoothly, which quieted down the grumpy supporters of Lorance, and life is especially well in the Capital City, the beautiful place where people of all regions are united. Although, there has been some crimes being reported mostly from the outskirts of Micarea. Perhaps they are a coincidence, or perhaps something bigger is coming right for the capital. Only time will tell. |

SCHOOL LIFE High-School In the Yugen Academy, the grade levels starts out in high school. Most students accepted into the academy are those who knows what they want, and are determined to go after it. Although, there are the select few who show much potential, but don't know what exactly they want. No matter, it's alright in your first four years because this is the time where the students explore their options, see where they excel, and what that truly want. Ontop of this is of course the standard education, but what makes Yugen especially a top school is their no-discrimination policy on what you want to be, unlike in other regions. For example, a child who lives in Carmellia finds themselves attracted to the quite opposite, Dahlia ways, and is usually shunned for it. The schools in a specific region only provide education for that same region, and is only allowed to declare nativity to that region when graduated. Yugen opens more possibilities for those who want something more than what they were born into. College Now it's time for some serious business. After the four years of high school, 95% of the class should have already declared a region to major in. This is where the students now disperse into the more in-depth curriculum for a particular region. They'll learn the cultures and lifestyles more intimately, and start preparing for the job they want after their school lives. This is where detailed paths start and training begins. Due to the rigorous transition, students who remain undefined will have a lot of pressure on them. The higher-ups look down to those who are indecisive so much, that if you are undefined and are showing even the slightest lack of minimum academic ability, you will be expelled from the school. There are rare occasions where some students stay undefined their whole school lives, and still graduate with a region nativity. Even so, those students would have to excel greatly in all of their classes, and let me say this now, it is not a simple task.Graduation and After There comes a time where school has to end, although this graduation is a little different. In Yugen, when a class graduates, there will be a ceremony held where each students proclaims which region they've decided to claim nativity to. The importance of nativity is that you will carry it throughout your whole life. It becomes a part of you, and it will effect how people perceive you, judge you, expect of you, act around you, etc. So, the students must choose wisely, because it's nearly impossible to change such a status.
One of the pros of graduating from Yugen, and declaring nativity to a region that specializes in a job you want, is that your acceptance for applying to the position is basically guaranteed.Extra Information Changing Majors: Each student is only allowed to change their majors three times throughout their entire school career. Some are allowed a fourth, although they must endure a faculty meeting. It's a very risky move because simply asking to change, brings you at risk to be expelled right then and there for showing indecisiveness, which is frowned upon.
College Years: Due to the difference in what a student must learn for what job they want and/or what region they want to be native to, the span of their college years differs. The least someone can spend is 2 years, meanwhile at most, can be 10 years. Any more is simply unacceptable, especially if their grades are not satisfactory.
Ages: The youngest a student can be is 14 years old, meanwhile the oldest can be 28.
